Everyone has learned to subsist at one point or another. However, as life's incessant demand for time has required us to move forward, many seem to have forgotten the fundamental basics in their struggle to keep breathing, a feat that has converted from it's original involuntary action to one that requires every conscience thought to perform.

An Ugly Transformation
Imagine a place. No pain, or worry. Somewhere brilliantly beautiful. This place ... is VERY hard to imagine. I wouldn't call it "Paradise," because flaws still lie within. Its scenery, features, and life would be categorized under the term of "Perfectly Imperfect".
Earth. Invaded by humans. A gorgeous planet, that slowly is transforming into a horrid place. "How?" or, "Why?" are questions you may ask. When people came onto Earth, everything -- to them -- seemed breathtaking. Years -- no, centuries -- passed, and we became oblivious to how much the earth provided us. Some began to take advantage of this, expecting more. Others followed this trend as well. They came to believe that what "Mother Nature" had in store for us wasn't enough.
Natural. Hmm, that's hard to find today. Take animals, for instance. Apparently, a naturally beautiful living thing wasn't enough. Humans began to breed dogs so they could have the "perfect"-looking pet. As if dogs weren't better before! Sometimes, damage can even be caused if there is a mistake in the breeding. And that is only one thing mankind has decided to take control over.
What about food? Sure, spices started out fine. However, not so much anymore. With some experimenting done by intelligent people, new spices have been created. Of course, they all taste magnificent, but the products within ... not so much. Honestly, my point is that almost everything in America is man-made. Us humans, doing this. It just doesn't seem right ...
What about you? Do you think man should play God?

Time
Time, the thing people pray for. It can slip away from you, or it can take forever to pass. Some get mad at time for having gone by so quickly and others just want time to go away. The death of a person is the end of their time, while the birth of a new being is the beginning. Time is taken away and time is given, however no matter what happens time will keep going. Time is in everything. It is universal, and all organisms feel it. The young and the old alike know that it exists. We get mad at time for having left us, we get mad at ourselves for not having used it well, because there will always come a time when we no longer have it. Time is one of the elements in our understanding that makes life interesting and makes life worth living. We are always racing against time, even though time never stops--or does it?
